    Sad to report that after a 50-year run at 4200 N. Western, @vzdsokc will be closing its doors at the end of this summer.



    Their building has sold to new owners and they could not come to terms.

    The space was originally home to Veazey's Drug Store and over the years they have featured many famous bands including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Dixie Chicks, and the Flaming Lips.

    They will close their doors for good on 9/2. In the meantime, they will continue to operate and host live music as they have for decades.
