  • Historic milk bottle building repurposed

Constructed in 1930 on what was then part of Route 66 at NW 24th & Classen, the Milk Bottle Building is only 350 square feet on a tiny triangular lot.

Over the years it's been a grocery store, cleaners, fruit market, sandwich place and a landscape architecture office among other things.

But now, it is home to the appropriately named Milk a unique nail salon owned by Zitta John.

Zitta says the salon is the culmination of a childhood dream that started 22 years ago when she wrote a 6th-grade paper about just this.

How many of us have driven by a thousand times and never been inside? Zitta is more than happy for you to come in and look around – it won't take long.
