  • Huge development goes to council for approval on Tuesday

OAK, the proposed mixed-use development on the southwest corner of NW Expressway and Penn, revealed revised renderings as the developers seek final go-ahead from the city.

Veritas Development of Tulsa held a reception for neighbors last night at the Registry building, one of the structures that would be demolished to make way for the project.

Renderings have been updated to depict the latest plans which include a 4-star hotel, 12 bars and restaurants, 250,000 square feet of retail, apartments, and office space as well as three parking structures.

NW 50th would be slightly reworked to align with the current traffic light that services 50 Penn Place. Two office complexes and several homes would be razed.

City council will review and vote on the plans on Tuesday. The Planning Commission had previously provided unanimous recommendation.
