  • Plow building to add reproduction water tower and sign

Plans have been submitted to the Bricktown Urban Design Committee to add a replica water tower and sign to the historic Rock Island Plow Building under renovation on the northwest corner of Reno and Oklahoma in Bricktown.

The addition would be a tribute to the history of the building built in 1909, which once featured a similar structure early in it's life.

The sign would be galvanized metal letters with LED lighting behind.

Now known simply as The Plow, the building is being renovated into office and commercial space by local developer Richard McKown. McKown also developed the Level apartments in Deep Deuce and has under construction the Mosaic Apartments and the OKSea complex.

Architect for The Plow project is AHMM of London.
