Easy, it's the SENIOR olympics (for which I qualify) not the SPECIAL olympics (don't make me say it).

Not the Special Olympics--the Senior Olympics.

What that is, I have no idea.

Men and Women ages 50, and older. The competition includes: badminton, basketball, bowling, croquet, cycling, golf, horseshoes, pickleball, racquetball, race walk, road race, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track and field, volleyball, weight lifting, triple jump and billiards events.

I am only 48, so I can't play with the older kids.........hmmmmmmmm...

Apparently so, I paid for them, severalmany times over. Now they are adults, so I don't "own kids" any longer. Perhaps since I still pay for them severalmany times over, I could, now, claim that I own a couple of adults that used to be kids.......
<whatever>

JBrown84, apparently, you are harboring some sort of issue with me. Send me a private message or get over it, so that this OKC Metro Area Talk Area can do something other than babysit you for the afternoon. <smile>

I could probably utilize an edit or a DELETE function button, by now.........<GRIN>

Thank you for that courtesy JBrown. I see that you do photography.....do you edit still photos into videos?

I can. That's not my job if that's what you're asking.

You have a very nice site on MY SPACE, it is apparent that you have an art for technology. I have been looking for someone that would be able to edit some of my old 8mm tapes, VHS and still photographs of my daughter onto DVD, like a Memorial.
I have the equipment, however, it is an emotional journey for me to attempt to go down that road, and I can't seem to get on with it, but I would adore such a disc.

Thanks.

I'm really not set up to do that, but I can recommend a company that does it.

That would be very sweet of you. My daughter is your age, born in 84, too. However, she is perpetually 15. You can post the info here or send it to me @ kathyspivey@sbcglobal.net

Thanks.

No problem. They are called Creative Photo Video.

Creative Photo Video (http://www.creativephotovideo.com/)

I know the owners and they are very nice people.

Ohhhhhh, they have just what I need! The Photo Montage of 100 photos plus some video clips with digital effects sounds absolutely perfect!

And they can repair tapes - great! I have one of her that may need to be fixed, she was the last child to "run the bases" at the 89'ers field before they moved to Bricktown. I feel too anxious to view it for fear that I may destroy it.

It will be more 'magical' to be created by someone else.

Thanks JBrown, what a godsend you have been...or in my world I often say "Angel Sent via Leslie"........she always provides what her MeMe wishes for. :)

Thank you.

LOL OkieMom....I am a few years short of being 50, so I don't even get to play. Kinda like trying to buy clothes for my age.....
