Where was it? I'm searching. Right now I think Pickle's in Moore has the best house salad and Outback has the best Caesar.

Charlestons has a very good house salad, and they put that sweet buttery honey croissant on the side. mmmmmm good...

Charleston's is what I was gonna say right when I saw the title of this thread. Looks like okclee beat me to it though.

:) Great minds...

Don't know if this counts or not but the Chicken Salad sandwich at the Food Factory.

I know it's a chain, but it's hard to find a salad better than any one at The Cheesecake Factory.

Other than that, the Tabasco Caesar at Pearl's, and the house salad at Red Rock are my 'local' favorites.

Animal killer!!!!!!!!!!

I only eat meat from animals that signed a waiver allowing themselves to be slaughtered for the betterment of society :mr_hat:

Okay, no one laugh at me but I love the Buffalo Chicken salad at Chili's. Crispy, spicy chicken strips on a huge bed of greens ... I'm hungry.

I second the vote for the mushroom salad at the Melting Pot.

Terra Luna used to have the best salads... The bleu cheese tart salad at Nonna's isn't bad, either.

Freddy's, outside Poteau, America, back in the day.
It's been years and I still miss that place.
Dumb old fire anyhows. :053:

Yeah, I had a hard time deciding between Charlestons' caesar and Outback's, but I really love the oniony taste of Outback's caesar salad. Quiznos caesar is surprisingly great as well. Where is Iron Starr at?

The house salad at Boomerang is good too, although I'm with jbrown, I'd rather have a side of meat with my meat instead of leafy greens.

Iron Starr is at the corner of 36th and Shartel.

How about just best salad in OKC (since I've only lived here for a year, I'm slightly biased in salad experiences): Caesar salad with salmon at Saturn Grill, hands down! Or wait no, the tortellini salad at Falcone's. Or wait no, greek salad at Zorba's. Hold on wait, house salad at The Trattoria (they put mozeralla squares on it!). Nah I know, a pound of Mediterranean salad from Forward Foods.

I guess I just can't decide, I like everything. Although I must admit I'm very disappointed when I order a house salad and just get a bowl of iceberg with shredded cheddar and a pound of ranch dressing on it. Not my cup of tea.

Hehe metro, "side of meat with my meat". Nothing's wrong with a little rabbit food :busterbun

Hey JerzeeGirl,

I was at Saturn Grill for dinner tonight, and I saw somebody get that salmon caesar salad. :)

You know, normally I probably wouldn't put a chain on my 'best of' list, but I have to agree Outback's salads are fantastic.

My wife would agree with the wedge salad at iron starr. She just had it last night. I like the tabasco ceasar at Pearls and the ceasar at Redrock, too.

However, the best way to enjoy rabbit food is by getting together with good friends and eating the rabbit

The Waldorf salad was created at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. You can also find it at North Fork (formally Applewood's). It has apples, walnuts, celery, and mayo.

I love the Outbacks Bleu cheese chopped salad as a side. I believe you can get it as an entree with steak. Here we have bob Evan's (there?) and they do a good warm bacon salad with chicken and the works. It sounds like I'll have a lot to choose from there.

I have made my own healthier version of waldorf salad with apples, celery, carrots, walnuts, honey and plain or vanilla yogurt instead of mayo. It keeps good in the fridge and gets better after a couple days. where i live now we have a local yogurt farm where it's made fresh on the farm, all natural and orgainc- it's amazing.

I just had the best salad of my life last week! And I can't wait to go back!!
Where???.....

Jason's Deli!

But I'd give Cheddar's in Tulsa a close runner up, as well as Texas Roadhouse!

My favorite "salad" is made with gummi bears, gummi worms, those nasty orange candy slices, sprinkles, Fruity Pebbles, and a cherries for health reasons...Mixed up in a big honkin' bowl of whipped cream and washed down with some John Courage Irish Amber.

Kidding...I hate to say it as I don't like most of their food...But Del Rancho has a decent salad. Good cheese. But I'm not so picky about my salads, I'll even buy the premade ones at WalMart and I like the ones from McDonald's too. I'm only crazy-picky about my steaks.
