I don't understand. The place I get my cats' food from is in "The Village" - even the street signs have "the village" on them.

When I put my address into a weather thing online the other day, it listed weather for Nichols Hills, OK instead of Oklahoma City, OK.

Are they boroughs or what? This is probably a stupid question, but I don't get it. :(

Nichols Hills and The Village are very small, seperate municipalities completely surrounded by Oklahoma City.

Separate cities, own laws, own city halls, own police and fire depts., own trash services, etc. They are their own manicipalities just like Edmond, Mustang, or any other of the suburbs.

BTW, Britton used to be its own city as well, just like the above mentioned. It was annexed by OKC many years ago.

Wow, Edmond has one of the lowest. Guess they make up for it in property taxes, or is that County?
