Can't believe no one has brought this up yet. She will be missed...

Downtown group's executive to step down
Alison Oshel will step down as vice president of operations at Downtown Oklahoma City Inc. on Jan. 2 after overseeing implementation of some of the Business Improvement District's most visible projects.
Since joining the organization in February 2002, Oshel oversaw start-up of the downtown clean teams, migratory bird control, placement of street signage and the Bricktown entryways.

Before joining Downtown Oklahoma City Inc., Oshel built a 17-year career in the commercial real estate industry managing and leasing office buildings and shopping centers.

Her tenure included eleven years with locally owned Price Edwards & Company and several years with international firms of CBRE and Kennedy-Wilson Property Services.

Downtown Oklahoma City Inc. President Brett Hamm said Oshel will work on a consulting contract through the spring completion of renovations to the Conncourse pedestrian tunnels, which are to be renamed The Underground.

Hamm said he expects details about Oshel's next position will be announced in the near future.

"Alison will be missed — her expertise and experience have been valuable to Downtown Oklahoma City Inc. and the BID board,” Hamm said.

"As she takes this next step, I have no doubt we will continue to see her involved downtown.”
