I just read that BJ's is coming to the Quail Springs area. What other restaurants, businesses, and other developments are in the future for the area?

I saw a Residence Marriot going up behind the Jersey Mike's subs on the south side of Memorial, just east of Lowes. You may want to do a search, there are several threads already discussing Memorial Rd. growth, I know other projects have been announced.

Isn't it a Courtyard by Marriott?

Maybe, I thought the sign said Residence Inn by Marriot though. It's been a long weekend so I could be wrong.

Yup, it's going to be a Courtyard.

I believe both are going to be built. Courtyard will be closer to the intersection of Highland Park & Memorial (behind Coppermark Bank) and the Residence will be behind Jersey Mikes and that shopping center.

Oh. That's a lot of Marriott.

I'm glad to hear about the Courtyard on Memorial. I have often wondered why the Courtyard hasn't been in this area. I work down the street and we have colleagues, visitors, etc. who ask to stay at a Courtyard and they haven't had that option close by. Glad to see it.

Other than the downtown one, it looks like about the tallest Courtyard in town. 4 or 5 stories.
