View Full Version : What Age?
js2004 12-22-2006, 12:07 AM I'm pretty new to this foum so exuse me for being ignorant but how many people in the singles forum are still in there 20's just curious, because it seems like most are in there early to mid 30's. Which this is fine, but it is sort of weird that almost every post is from someone in there early to mid 30's, is there some sort of paradox here or am I just crazy. I'm 27 years old and was just curious if we could get a poll of different ages here? Any takers.
windowphobe 12-22-2006, 04:47 PM Don't look at me. I'm 53.

StephiOKC 12-23-2006, 07:54 AM js2004 do you think that 30 something is something far from you age? You are 27 right?
bandnerd 12-23-2006, 09:05 AM I think maybe (and I'll probably get flamed) it seems like there are more 30-something singles here because they are the ones vocalizing their frustrations with it. Usually people in their 20's are still "living it up" so to speak, and they aren't necessarily worried about finding someone to spend the rest of their lives with...they might be more concerned about their education or budding careers.
Just a thought.
*hides*

Maybe my wife and I were late bloomers, but I'm 27 now and my wife is 30. We got married just last year. We already have a baby girl! So, good things come to those who wait! 'Course we didn't get hooked up through OKCTalk.com...although it was an online site: eHarmony. Heh, it worked for us!

gmwise 10-30-2008, 08:16 PM I remeber thinking when I turned 25, I thought "a quarter of century".
When I turned 30 I had "some very good friends", gave me a wake. coffin and all.
When I hit 40, I had a fortunate incident which had my back in pain, thank gawd for painkillers that kept me "occupied" for a week.
Now I'm 44, and I find myself wondering why the music is loud, and kids running on the lawn, anyones' lawn pisses me off.
Speaking as a former single person here's the secrets of survival, be yourself, take your medications,be happy and comfortable with yourself.
