SUBJECT: Citizen Alert - Police Seek Witnesses in Homicide Case


The Oklahoma City Police Homicide Unit is seeking the public's help in identifying two possible witnesses in Homicide # 13. On April 24th of 2006, police discovered 25-year-old Rodolfo Jesus Cazares Jr (Hispanic/Male, 6-12-82) shot in the parking lot of 1040 S.W. 74th.

Police believe Cazares was the victim of a homicide. Leads in this case have grown cold and detectives now seek the public's help in identifying two Hispanic Males who may have information regarding the crime.

The two potential witnesses were in the store where the shooting took place just prior to the crime. One witness was wearing a white polo style shirt with dark stripes, while the other wore black pants and a white shirt. In order to obtain further leads which may lead to solving this homicide, these two individuals need to be identified.

Police ask that if anyone has any information about this crime, or if they recognize either of these two individuals, that they call the Homicide Unit at 297-1126 or Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. As always, callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
