Make plans now to attend Opening Night 2007! Since 1987, Opening Night has been THE way to ring in the New Year in Downtown OKC. This marks the 20th year of Opening Night and the Arts Council of Oklahoma City has gone all out to plan a very fun and entertaining night.

Enjoy a variety of performances in 13 venues around Downtown. This year the event has expanded into Bricktown. There will be 18 stages with more than 40 performers ranging from dance, music, theatre, comedy and magic, and even a special area for the kids.

The finale starts at 11:30 in Kerr Park with a light show, DJ, and the countdown to midnight. Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show as you ring in 2007.

Admission buttons are $8 in advance, $10 the day of the event, with children under 5 free. Buttons are already on sale at Homeland stores, Midfirst Bank locations, and Mathis Brothers. Buttons may also be purchased at the event.

For more info, including a complete schedule of the evening and a map, visit Home - Arts Council OKC (http://www.artscouncilokc.com), or call 405-23-NIGHT (405-23-64442).

You should get a subscription then, it's only like 20 or so bucks a year to have it mailed to you! Well worth it IMO to know what's going on.

The Oklahoma History Center is hosting a Centennial Ball which should be VERY cool! See Doug Dawgz Blog: New Years 2006 (http://dougdawg.blogspot.com/2006/12/new-years-2006.html), 1907 or formal attire requested.

Was able to get a copy and saw the ads. What kind of place is Spinozi's??? I see they are having a NYE party. What about the parties at Sooner Legends or the Sober Grounds Coffee House?

What's the party at Cafe Nova like? The $20 is after 9pm, right?

Thanks!
