We talked about high speed Internet at home (Cox), but how many of you use a free/paid wireless hotspot, and which is your favorite one?

I have Internet at home and at work that is not restricted so I rarely use hot spots. The one's I have used though are in the Leadership Building and various airports and hotels.

I know downtown there is Sub Stop, Leadership, a cafe just East of the Court House, Downtown Library, Java Dave's, IHOP, and Some Panera Breads around town. Those are free. I've seen pay as you go at a few McDonald's and Borders. I'd consider the one at Borders, as I go there quite a bit, but I'm not gonna pay.

If you want to see all of the Downtown WiFi spots, visit Downtown Oklahoma City > Home (http://www.downtownokc.com) and click the interactive map. When it comes up, click on the little red icon with the "W" at the bottom of the page. It will show them all to you! If you find I have missed any, please let me know!

I can't remember the name, but the little diner next to the Subway east of the courthouse has a sign in the window saying free internet access.

Anyone know if there is a city wide map of FREE WiFi spots?

Cafe Bella at SW 89th and Penn, and Will's at the Will Rogers Theater. Both offer free access. Downtown, my favorite is the Downtown Library. All are free.

If you do a Google search, there are couple of websites that list them by state and city.

IHOP is the place I've used the most.

But the new mega-McDonalds just off I-40 & Mustang Rd. in Yukon looks like a good spot to hit up when you're on the go!

I'm off to use free wireless at the Colcord Oyster Bar. See ya later.

Swake2 - thanks for the link! For some reason the H&H Gun Range listing made me laugh.

What really annoys me is when a place offers WiFi (free or not) but do not offer any electrical outlets.

The Colcord Oyster Bar? I believe you are referring to XO Lounge? Anyhow I enjoy using the Downtown Library or Panera Bread locations. I can't believe no one mentioned Starbucks.

I think jbrown was being flip. Anyway, I'd go to Starbucks if the access was free.
