On my Macintosh (is there any other real computer) whenever the line "You Deserve A Piece of the Action. Build the Community, Make More Money CLICK NOW" appears, my whole screen from that line down shifts because the font used is bigger than the other messages rotating in that area. The shift is very annoying while trying to read a thread.

Can anything be done to fix it - like making it the same size as the rest of the announcements?

By shift I mean the page moves down a line.

I don't know if it's the same problem, but my screen keeps shifting one line up and down as well. Only mine does it no matter what OKCTalk page I'm on. It occurs about once every 5-10 seconds.

I'm on a laptop, running XP pro and IE 7. Before this morning, it's never done this.

Sounds like the same issue.

there is a news ticker near the top of the page... one of the news items is in a larger font. when that item displays, the content is pushed down a bit and when it moves to the next one, it jumps back up. -M

Same thing happening here....IE6..very annoying.

You should probably PM Todd about this.

The text that causes the distortion is actually a link to sign up for some adware with a hook that you get paid for site referrals. "All you have to do is sign up and download the software..."
