Has anyone see 'Flag of our fathers?' (I think that is the title).

Wonder if it lives up to the hype.

My mom and her B/F went to see it last week.

She said the movie was amazing, but thought it might be good to watch it a second time to make sure she understood the timelines, etc.

I was considering catching it here at the Tokyo International Film Fest last week. In all the theatres which is unusual considering it takes so long for an American film to reach Japanese theaters.

Should be interesting watching it here.

Pearl Harbor was an embarrassment. I was actually ashamed walking out of the theater that day.

Flags of Our Fathers is a disappointment. The story is all over the map. The script is very weak, which is surprising coming from Paul Haggis (Crash, The Last Kiss, Million Dollar Baby). It's worth seeing, but it's nothing great. Eastwood tries to do too much with one film.

Caught the late showing of 'Letters From Iwo Jima' last night. Very well done. Go check it out!
