I have not been by it at night lately to see it, but last time I saw was in late May. You could hardly see it. You had to look closely to see anything. I was under the impression it would be so bright, you could see it for miles coming into OKC. I was in Bricktown and had to look real hard. Is it finished, are they working on it, will it be brighter, does it have something on it that is making it dimmer? Any info would be appreciated.

I believe last time I checked, they look the green lens off of it and it's white now and easier to see. Can anyone clarify?

I've driven by in the last week and it wasn't even on.

Major disappointment...

i think it was on last night when i left a watch party so it was after 10 pm - all white; no more green

It's still not the beacon I was expecting to see from miles around.

I think it's at the Presbyterian Health Foundation's campus.

The beacon was back on this weekend - all white and very visible. I heard there have been some technical difficulties as well as removal of the green filters to improve the visibility. They are trying to get everything squared away as the Centennial rolls around. It is not "on" all night, just dusk to midnight.:kicking:
