Do you use Linux, or any of it's various types? Or would you use it? If not, why not?

I use Suse Linux 10.1 on another partition to gain hands on experience in Linux. In fact, I am a huge Linux fan, and I am looking forward to the release of SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10.

I am also familiarizing myself with the Linux programming environment, so I can begin planning application development, producing professional consumer software that is lacking in Linux. At least I hope I can. Time and money is involved.

I will, however, be backing up my work in Linux to clear the partition for Windows Vista Beta 2 testing. I now have the DVD on hand.

I use linux mostly at work for servers. One of our guys uses Suse as his only OS at work. I would love to switch but we rely on too many active directory and exchange tools that only run on windows for day to day support.

Our servers run RHEL 3, Kubuntu and Debian. We're planning our first Suse server rollout sometime this summer.
