SUBJECT: Citizen Alert - Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Burglary Suspect

Oklahoma City Police Burglary Detectives are seeking the public's help in locating and identifying a suspect in a sporting goods store burglary.

The crime occurred on May, 16th just before noon. That is when the suspect, who is described as a white male, between 50 to 55 years of age, about 507/175, entered a sporting goods store at the 1900 block of N. MacArthur Blvd.

The suspect walked around looking at the guns in glass cases. When employees weren't looking the suspect pried the glass door open and took the guns from inside the case. Two significant identifying features of the suspect is that he is missing his right hand above the wrist, and his thumb and index fingers are missing from his left hand.

A total of six firearms were stolen from the store. This crime is of major concern to the police because it deals with firearms and the potential for other crimes being committed.

Police ask if anyone recognizes the suspect or can give us any information about the crime, to please call the OCPD Burglary Unit at 297-1123 or Crime Stoppers at 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and they could receive a cash reward for their information.
