Yes, I'm not asking you to vote but to vote OKC as America's favorite zoo. Bragging rights and a $25,000 grant go to the winner:

Just got an email about this myself.

Here's the link that I got, it takes you right to the survey

Scroll down to about the middle of the page.

Funny I keep reading the address as "Zooty Coon" instead of "Zoo Tycoon!"

Sounds like a cajun cartoon character

Thanks guys! May the best zoo win! And I probably won't remember to re-check that site, so please keep us up to date on the winner. I wish the poll would show us the current results!

I've been to a lot of Zoos around the US. The DC Zoo, the San Diego Zoo, etc. I can say that OKC's zoo is up there with the best of them.

I agree.....I think what makes our zoo extra special is the landscaping.....many people don't realize this but our zoo isn't just a zoo....it's also a certified botanical garden. So basically you're getting a two for one package wen you visit our zoo. The landscaped grounds definitely add to the atmosphere. The added landscaping has definitely improved the zoo from how I remember it as a young child.

The new Oklahoma Trails exhibit will finally add some local flavor to our zoo....I'm looking forward to its opening.

By the way, if you haven't gottena chance, visit the new OKC Zoo store at Penn Square Mall, on the lower level of the JC Penney wing.
