I read a lot about franchise restaurants, chain store retail and uneducated criticism of recent urban real estate development on this blog, but seldom a word about one the most important quality of life generators in downtown OKC . . . The Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The Mexican Masters exhibition will be showing only through March 26th. If you have not seen this show, you have missed an incredibly uplifting experience. An art experience the quality of which may not be repeated here for years; a world class art exhibition that is only being seen in one art museum in the world, The Oklahoma City Museum of Art. It is breath taking. Here’s the link to the OKCMOA site that describes the event. http://www.okcmoa.com/exhibits_current.htm

So, get your butts to the OKCMOA and enjoy a real major league experience.

Have yet to make my way to the OKCMOA...but will need to. Will be interesting to compare it to the one I grew up with...http://www.toledomuseum.org/.

I second ODG's plea. It's a powerful exhibit, if not for being such a collection of masters, then for their political commentary. You don't have to be an art lover to appreciate that.
