The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to 24 grass fires over this last weekend bringing their total grass fires for this year to 501!

They also worked 6-house fires as well as the 2-houses in Rivendale. The Rivendale fires are still under investigation, total losses on those two properties was $645,000.

Arson investigators also made several arrests over the weekend in conjuction with some of these fires.
