Possiblity that the Spirit of Delta, a Boeing 767-200, will be making a brief stop in OKC tomorrow. This is the farewell tour for employees before the aircraft, purchased by Delta employees, is retired to the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta.

It was apparently scheduled to come into OKC on the 2nd, but stayed in Dallas for the day. Tomorrow's flights aren't loaded in yet, but it is a possibility. Just throwing this out there incase anyone notices something bigger than normal coming into KOKC. :)

Drat, doesn't look like it's coming here.

I just checked flytecomm, it's probably already on its way to ATL from DFW today. Would have been nice to see it here, but it's only visiting key Delta markets. It will be kept in the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta.

interestingly, the ONE time that I flew Delta, I flew on this plane. I dont remember what was the destination but I believe I was going from somewhere to Salt Lake.

I could tell it definitely was an employee owned plane though, besides the fact that they told us.

Whats the difference between an employee owned plane and a normal corporate owned plane... Besides the obvious difference.. :)
