This is good news for the airport and the city. A new hangar is being built for ARINC, a MD-basd company. The company will also add 50 jobs. The hangar will be able to accomodate aircraft as large as the Airbus 340.

This is really good news for the aerospace industry in OKC. That particular area near the airport has been prime for this type of development for years. Even though it is only 50 jobs, it's a start and I think that over the next few years, that whole area is going to blossom with aerospace business. Not only at Will Rogers, but at Tinker, the new Overhaul and Technology Center that will be built off Douglas will provide even more jobs for our community. Even though GM is gone, the effects should be minimal, at worst, with all of the new opportunities coming online. If you consider the oil industry, aerospace and biotech, our region is poised for dramatic growth for years to come. It's great to be in OKC!!!
