I was driving past this area on 44 the other day and noticed a large restaurant type building going up next to IHOP. Anybody know what this is? It looks like a restaurant, but an elaborate one.

This has already been discussed several times now. Remember to search before posting. It's going to be the new Laredo's mexican restaurant since Chesapeake bought its original location on 63rd & Western.

Oops. Sorry about that. Guess it's been a while since it was discussed, though. I wasn't around last May.

No problem. Just try searching for "Belle Isle" next time. And if you go to the second link (looks like the first but not) then you will see it was most recently talked about in December

Yeah I didn't see the link but I found that more recent thread. I guess I didn't think to search Belle Isle.

This worthless thread can be deleted.

Oh, don't worry about it - it's no big deal. The Post Police aren't going to cite you. (Well, I dunno, Metro is pretty mean on the knuckles with a ruler):) It would take about 1000 visits to text posts like yours to cost a nickle of bandwidth, the same as if you used the search. We all do it sometimes.

If this is the concept that should be followed, I probably should not make any more posts---for sure no new threads for me cause I do not have the time to search every possible combination that allude to something having had a thread previously---and even if it did have a previous thread, it might not have been discussed in the manner in which I want it discussed.

No wonder there are so very few people posting on the board!

I'd rather you post about something that's already been talked about than to not post at all. So feel free! :)

I agree, I can be a thread cop at times. I should just let it go but it bugs me for people who don't read the TOS and post new threads before meeting the minimum requirement or not at least attempting one search but that's just me. Just ignore me.

The reason I made the post was that I thought it absurd to have such a concept on a bulletin board....especially a bulletin board that goes for hours at times with no new posts.

Now, if the board were hopping with new posts left and right, that might cause reason to rethink my position.

Yeah! I kinda fly off the handle at times too when I read something I don't like, but too, I wonder how many first-time-to-post posters that scared off right after they finally got up the courage to post something.

this board has about 1/10th the activity
that it "could"

Don't feel bad, if they couldn't criticize you for this,
they'd find something in your grammar to criticize, or
the fact you use too many caps etc.

This board needs to be more mainstream instead of a bunch
of old curmudgeons who walk around Bricktown mumbling
about chain restaurants and how we need some more Sonic's in OKC....

Also, not to be off topic, but what is that new restaurant
they are building next to IHOP in Belle Isle??????
