Man Storms Out of Jobless Office & Jumps To His Death

An angry man ordered out of a State Employment office today later jumped to his death from a parking garage over the office near Sheridan and Walker.

A man who was apparently out of a job and ordered out of a State Employment Office because he was angrily cursing on a phone later jumped to his death today in downtown Oklahoma City.
Reports of the incident broke over police radios shortly after 3pm. KTOK's Mary Beth Henschel says the man had reportedly been inside the Employment Security Office minutes earlier. One witness says the man was cursing and complaining about his treatment at the office. A receptionist reportedly asked him to leave and the man angrily vowed to jump to his death. Minutes later, he did.
The garage is at One North Walker and is located across the street from the Greyhound bus terminal.
