BRICKTOWN, OK— John Q. Hammons is developing a six-story, 150-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in the OKLAHOMA City area. The extended-stay property will be built in Bricktown, OK, and will be owned by Hammons and will be managed by Springfield, MO-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, LLC.

Construction of the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown/Bricktown is currently underway and the grand opening is slated for fall 2006.

Situated on the west edge of Reno Ave., along the Bricktown Canal, the hotel is conveniently located near three major interstates, Interstate-40, I-45 and I-35 as well as to popular attractions such as the Ford Center, Bass Pro Shops and the newly planned Toby Keith Entertainment Complex. In addition to the 150 well-appointed suites, the hotel will offer four meeting rooms and a canal-side pool and patio.

Is this an AP article from some random site? They probably just don't know what they're talking about.

Oh no...
Just as long as it does not have the name of Toby Keith on it. The guy is a loser.

This story is from a writer who has no idea what he/she is talking about. No mention of Harkins, or TKILTBG specifically, I assume this reporter just grouped them together.

Amazing.

They pay this guy to write?

I hope so. I just hope people don't read it and think the lower bricktown is some sort of TK entertianment complex. I think his restaurant, with the big screen advertising Bail Bonds on the canal, is enough for any one city.

The thing that concerns me is it says "newly planned" Toby Keith Entertainment Complex. That leads me to believe there's something in the works. Yikes.

If so, I wish he'd do it in the Stockyards or something where it makes sense conceptually.

This isn't an article, it's a press release, and a badly written one at best. Disregard it.
