To all of the Tulsan's on the board, I'm going to head up to the Tulsa State Fair this weekend. I've never been. Any recommendations on where to park?? Any comments on the Tulsa State Fair from years past?? I missed ours and thought I'd follow all of the vendors up to yours. Besides, it will be a nice opportunity to check out an event I've never been to, namely, another city's fair.

The Tulsa State Fair is pretty decent. There's plenty of parking around Expo Square, so don't worry about that. Once you're in, check out Bell's for a roller coaster, log ride, and this new ride I've been hearing about on the Tulsa forum. Then head to the Midway for the rides, the food, and the weirdest people that live in Tulsa (especially at night). Go into the Expo building and see all the booths from local businesses and such, maybe there's a car show too I can't remember. There's a stage somewhere with live music too.

By the way, I drove by the new Cherokee Casino Resort on my way to Branson this past weekend. I was impressed.
