It is that time again for the Girl Scouts to sell cookies. I must admit that the cookies are a little expensive, but it is well worth it to support this great organization.



Girl Scouts begin sale of cookies

The annual Girl Scout cookie sale is under way.


Girls in the 15 counties served by Girl Scouts-Red Lands Council began selling Girl Scout cookies Monday and will continue selling them through Feb. 26.

Proceeds stay in the local communities to support local troops, council officials said. No money is sent to the national Girl Scouts.

For nearly 90 years, the Girl Scout Cookie Program has helped girls ages 6-17 develop skills they will use throughout their lives - from setting goals and public speaking to money management and customer service.
