Philadelphia comes to town tomorrow night (Friday). They just beat Portland at home and they are 8-7, while we just beat the Nuggets on the road, 102-95, Desmond Mason getting his groove back with 26 points.

It amazes me that in a metro area which is so huge that that the 76ers have yet to have a sellout this year, that is, if the figure I have for max capacity is correct, 20,444.

In the 1st 9 (all) home games, average attendance is 15203 (17,705; 14,654; 13,392; 20,292; 14,550; 12,211; 18,908; 12,452 (v Hornets); and 12,676.

Their record is 8-7, ours is 7-7. After Friday's game, our records, I hope, will be the same. And, with another sellout, our average home attendance will be 18,914.

Not too shabby!

Go Hornets!

I watched the game last night - some great action -

Did you get a ticket Doug and more importantly, where can I get tickets ha,ha... I think I might try the scalper thing Friday - I want to go but tix are outrageous on ebay and gone everywhere else - I really regret not getting a package now - I think Jason ( Hornet's rep) still has some semi packages for the remainder of the game - maybe I'll give him a buzz..

Go Hornets!!

I hear you, Karried. I couldn't really commit to a package because my schedule fluctuates so much, but now I'm pretty sure I will get one next year if they're still here. It looks like resale is strong and I'd be able to unload season tickets for games I couldn't attend at face value, making my per ticket cost for the games I attend even lower. I may even have more time to oganize a few friends to go in with me and split them.

For now, I have to work the connections. I got tix for tomorrow and I'm pretty excited. I'll be fired up if we get a win against the 76ers at home.

I don't have tickets yet. I'm going to see what I can do outside the arena. I think I've waited too long to get decent tickets via the regular means.

I think you can still get good tickets via the painful means.

WHICH painful means do you mean??? :fighting3

I went by the Ford Center ticket office on my way home, around 5:30 pm, and, at the moment, no tickets, not even SINGLE tickets, are available ... it's a 4TH SELLOUT!!! Yea!

The lady at the counter did say that some additional tickets might be "released" tomorrow and to check back ... which I guess means double selling.

I'm not troubled ... I KNOW that I will get there! I'm thrilled for the 4TH SELLOUT, right here in Oklahoma City! :boff:

That depends on your negotiation skills and available resources. :)

It should be crazy night. I'm pumped. If I hear of any tickets, I'll pass on the info...

I got two $10 tickets from a client today ... Section 317 ... so, cheap seats to be sure, but I'll be there yellin' my head off!

GO HORNETS!!!!
