Does anyone have any video of Boogie's Place? I think it was on 50th just East of MacArthur and was a popular dance spot back in the 80s..... looking for some video for a project I am working on. Thanks!

Just FYI, Boogie’s Place wasn’t the one east of MacArthur. That was Starship 9 which was owned by Randy Chandler and his wife. He also had a partner, but his name escapes me. They used one of the Top 40 disc jockeys from KZUE. his name is escaping me too. Either it’s too early in the morning or age is making its presence known. I think Boogie’s Place had a couple of locations maybe? Not simultaneously, but was at one place and then moved. Starship 9 was a truly impressive teen club for its time. Mirror balls, fog machine, a “blast off” to start the evening. Hope this helps Steve.

Mr. Blue Sky,
Wasn't it also Nothing But Country? I had a friend that went there often.
