Pretty cool building. From the article, it appears that Singapore requires developers to replace green space with green space.

There are some really interesting ones out there. Just do a google image search and you'll see some really creative uses of roof/balcony, etc. The singapore building is interesting, but doesn't really add much green. They used it as a way to make the building stand out by cutting out some floor decks, but there are a lot more out there with larger green spaces. The trouble for some of them is maintaining the greenery properly (lot more difficult to prune 30 floors up) and the people below have the danger of falling branches with storms and such.
