I am so happy we got the HORNETS even for one season. I have hornets gear with the New Orleans Hornets, but I am looking for honets gear with OKC on it. Can someone help me with this problem please.

The game had lots of merchandise for sale - 20 bucks for a tshirt...

Try USA Screenprinting on Meridian. I know they were approved as an 'official retailer' for whatever that's worth. I haven't been by to see what they have, but there is quite a bit of OKC merchandise at the games. Just put on the t-shirt or sweatshirt you buy at the game.

Here's what is available at the Ford Center:
They have t-shirts for $20 with Oklahoma City and the H-comb on them (white, gray, black, or purple). Black hooded sweatshirts with Oklahoma City and the H-comb for $40.
Reebok polo shirts for $50 with the H-comb.
Hats for $25 (if I remember right) with either Oklahoma City Hornets, OKC Hornets, or just the H-comb.
Mini basketballs, trading cards, and other assorted miscelaneous items...

I wasn't too impressed with the gear at the game, not to mention you will pay gameday prices. Try USA Screenprinting first.

That gear at Ford Center was just the "first wave" stuff they put together VERY quickly. It takes time to get the gear out and the good stuff is being made right now. Very soon this market will be flooded with very nice Hornets gear.

Also, the Hornets' Nest team store will be open in Ford Center outside of sec. 119 for the regular-season opener against the Kings. That's when I'll stock up on stuff.

Yeah, the Hornets ball cap I bought at the 1st preseason game cost $25 ... but it is a quality hat ... but I'd still like one that said "OKC" on it somewhere. This one has the hornet logo with no text. Still, I'm glad to have it.

From at artilce at http://newsok.com/article/1680609/?template=sports/main,

OKC Hornets gear to be more available

Starting Nov. 25, Oklahoma City Hornets T-Shorts and other OKC Hornets merchandise will be available at a new retail store at 210 Park Avenue on the ground floor of the Oklahoma Tower.

“We’ll have everything that’s available at the games,” said Jeff Jacobsen, director of the corporate merchandise for the Hornets. “I’ve been getting about 20 calls per day from people asking about Oklahoma City Hornets stuff. Now, we’re going to have a store.”

I've seen the OKC Hornets shirt as well. It looks really cool, but if you notice, it has New Orleans in the belly of the hornet. I really hope they make a permanent decision soon so we don't get too excited only to lose this team to Kansas City or some other city. If I were David Stern, I'd say keep the team in OKC. I mean, he clearly stated that OKC is at the top of the list for RELOCATION. Why send the Hornets somewhere else and relocate another team to OKC?? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to go through all of that moving around. I think the sooner the team knows that this is their permanent home, the better it is for the players and their families. New Orleans will NOT be back in the foreseeable future. Look how long it took our city to recover from the oil bust. That pails in comparison to the destruction in N.O.

The oil bust does, but I'm not as sure that the Dust Bowl, though different in its form, wasn't as powerful and pervasive in its impact. Plus, from that, we got our permanent moniker, "Okie", which lives on today, 70-80 years later. Though originally intended as a term of disrespect and ridicule, and is still seen that way by some, it isn't by me. I'm proud to be an Okie From OKC!

I think it's fair to say at this point, JOHNINSOKC, that unless the Hornets go back to New Orleans, they will be staying here. I don't think we need to worry about KC anymore.
