Anybody have an update or Traber. Hope is OK. I like him. He is a little high on himself but he does tell the truth. Last I heard he was resting in hospital with test being ran.

I can’t stand him as a radio personality.

But I also hope he’s OK. Ive been out of town for a few days and wasn’t aware he was having problems.

FYI, to everyone. Jim Traber did have an episode while playing poker. He was NOT medi flighted from Ardmore. He was transported to OKC and is resting. More tests today and anything else you hear is rumor and most likely incorrect. Prayers are appreciated.
This is from the Fat Jack's Twitter acct. They are really good friends, so he knows what is going on. Don't forget to pray for Jim and his family.

Radio is reporting it was a seizure and that there will be exploratory surgery tomorrow. I used to work with a guy who suffered a seizure and they found a large benign tumor in his head. This guy had a full head of hair and was in his late 50's and had no other symptoms. They drilled in right through his eyebrow and essentially sucked the tumor out through a small hole. He didn't have to shave his head and there was barely a scar. He was back at work after a month.

I hope the fact that Jim is in stable condition is a good sign.

ULTIMATE UPDATE- as days go after Saturday’s episode, today was a good day. Dr’s have a good idea to what caused his episode and a plan that will prevent any further issues. Your continued prayers are appreciated. Jim thanks all of you for your love and support.

Lord Gerald, I heard the same report you heard from Al. I just hope Jim gets better soon.

Here is a note that Julie Traber put on her Facebook page. I can't wait till he is feeling better and back on the air.
Jim and I just wanted to say thank you to all the family and friends who have been praying for him! The fact that he’s home right now is definitive proof that prayers work!

Last Saturday, while playing poker, Jim fell out of his chair unconscious. So grateful that a fellow poker player got word to me and I immediately got on the road. Initially I was told it was either a stroke or a heart attack, and he was unresponsive. This was so scary because he was quite a ways from a hospital. He was taken to the hospital in Ardmore Oklahoma and they quickly realizes that Jim had a mass in his brain and needed to be transferred to a hospital that had the specialists to handle neurological issues. I reached out to several of the awesome doctors that Jim has on his contact list and Fat Jack and his amazing wife Caryn Ross were also making calls to find out the best place to get Jim.

It was quickly decided that we would take him to Mercy OkC. However, you’ll remember that this was Memorial Day Weekend and there were tornadoes going through the route we had to take. Thankfully, Jim’s neurologist at Mercy, was already calling Ardmore to make sure Jim was good until we could get him back home.

It was determined that Jim had a benign tumor on his brain, which was causing swelling of the brain, and it needed to be removed. On Wednesday, May 29th, Jim had brain surgery and the tumor was successfully removed. Everything went well and he was able to go home on Friday.
We just can’t say enough about the doctors, the nurses, the techs, housekeeping.. even the cafeteria at Mercy. Everyone was wonderful and we are so grateful for each person that helped Jim!

We are also so thankful for everyone that prayed and reached out to us during this time. It really made all the difference! We ask for continued prayers as he heals! He’s doing well considering what he’s been through.

Bold move to be mocking (even in jest) a man who just had brain surgery a couple weeks ago. Very bold move...

Glad to see Jim Traber back in the saddle. Wish everyone the best of health these days--I've experienced episodes of troubled health concerns. You want to know about MLB and baseball in general, Jim is the man. He, IMO, continues to improve.

Listen to the WWLS Sports Animal. Jim loves to attack Thunder telecast & broadcast crews for being homers; honestly Jim, if I had to listen to the Thunder's own crew belly-ache about the team consistently, I'd tune in to something else--that's just me.
