Announced they are closing all 650 of their stores.

Only 2 in Oklahoma are at the outlets and at Rockwell Plaza.

Although started in 1962, I always wondered who thought it was a good idea to call it dress "barn". The name alone kept my wife from ever going into here.

When my wife worked at Hertz and had to dress fairly well we spent a lot of time and money at Dress Barn. Homeland doesn’t really care what you wear. Which in my opinion is fine when NOBODY from the outside world ever sees you. So we haven’t been there or spent money there in years.

I started to say this very thing! For some reason that name has always carried a negative connotation in my mind. The chain has been around quite a while, though, so it must not have bothered too many other people! :)
