We know that the tribes have sovereignty; they have taken the lead with gambling as Winstar, the World's largest casino is conveniently situated between Dallas & Oklahoma City to take advantage of those who want to visit this Vegas style resort. There are other tribal casinos in that area.

Notice that the state is bracing itself for marijuana; could Oklahoma be confronted by the tribes with their own future growth of the plant?

What is State Question 788?: https://yeson788.com/sq-788

Imagine the potential of areas near and around Madill & Thackerville (Winstar) if the tribes pursue their own marijuana growth. Should the State of Oklahoma get ahead of the game by addressing potential concerns...

Would love to hear the thoughts of those of you who are knowledgeable about where the state may be headed.

The policy was created after several western states legalized pot... ...Marijuana is still against the law and they're not comfortable with the subject.

This would be a great time for the state to develop a tax structure for marijuana. It's going to need it at some point anyway. Might as well start cashing in.

First, people need to sign the petition to vote to legalize rec marijuana in Oklahoma. There are numerous locations in the Oklahoma City to sign it as shown here: https://gtvok.com/locations

There is also a medical marijuana petition to sign. It's to use as a counteract in case the legislature guts SQ788 after it passes.

If you need to register to vote, you got until June 1 to do it to be eligible to vote on SQ788.

If the tribes sold marijuana it would be like buying legal marijuana in Colorado and crossing the state line. As soon as you enter an area where it’s illegal you’re subject to arrest. Not to mention it’s still illegal on a national level.
