The Other Room is directly next to Picasso Cafe and you can order from the menu there, but it is also it's own stand-alone place.

They recently did a pretty extensive remodel and went non-smoking although the large covered patio out back is still for smokers.

Went last night and really enjoyed it. Great cozy neighborhood bar with friendly, attentive service and reasonable drink prices.

I'll eventually take some photos but they've done a nice job in there with just the right lighting and an excellent new sound system and still plenty of charm.

Very busy for a late Tuesday night, too. And when I went by neighboring Scratch it was also quite full.

Several new places will soon be joining the Paseo and I've said for a long time it is a sleeping giant that seems to be waking up.

Went last weekend while we waited on our reservation to open up and really enjoyed the everything about it. Drinks were strong, staff were awesome and the remodel looks great. Good mix of people eating and drinking on a sunday afternoon so I look forward to visiting more often.

any pictures of the remodel? Place has always been really popular, but the inside decor & general layout was pretty meh.

The Other Room, or TOR as the regulars call it, has always had great staff and patrons. I think the remodel has been a great improvement, but was disappointed to learn they didn't add a second bathroom. Only one bathroom in a bar that busy is a problem to me, but apparently not to all.

I'm sure you know this but since it is directly connected to Picasso Cafe, you can also use their facilities.

Yes, fortunately that is an option. For anyone who finds themselves at TOR past midnight (or 10pm on weekdays) that option goes away due to Picasso closing for the night.

Yes! I took these some time ago (hence the St. Patty's Day decorations!) and never posted them.

I had another really great evening on Monday night and the place was pretty darn busy, even when I left around 11PM.

It may now be my favorite bar in OKC.

So friendly, great service, reasonable prices, they've upped their beer offerings AND you can order food from Picasso next door.

I think their happy hour is until 6 with a lot of half-priced menu options, and it's Picasso food not fried pub stuff.

Between here and Scratch, I am down there in the evenings a lot now. And I really like the DJ's (Fri & Sat) late night next to Sauced.

Really looking forward to all the new places that will opening soon. Frida, OSO and even the new incarnation of the Red Rooster.

I’ve been telling my wife for awhile that Paseo might be my favorite district of OKC. Once they opened holey rollers and buttermilk I always want a reason to get down there.
