I am surprised that there isn't a thread on this (if there is and I couldn't find it). Went last night to Michael Murphy's Dueling Piano bar on the canal next to ACM. They take reservations but was not very busy when we were there. $10. cover. The performers are very talented and do a great job getting the crowd involved. Dueling pianos with a drummer and a few other instruments here and there. They had four musicians that rotated with three generally playing at any one time.

Decent bar selection but we just had beer. Bucket of 5 domestics was $17.50. They sell pizza by the slice but otherwise...no real food options.

Fun evening.

I enjoyed my time there. It was super packed. Slightly annoyed that a bunch of OU alumni (probably) kept paying for the fight song to be played.

One of the best nights I had in Oklahoma City was at Michael Murphy's. I'm glad they still seem to be doing good.

Had a birthday party for my wife there. I played the part of a stripper pole on stage. Very fun night.

There's a thread for the building I thought? Also thought this was getting replaced by something with daytime friendly hours?

Apparently the piano bar is moving, anyone have any information about the space they are moving into?

I thought I had posted this but apparently not...

Yes, 119 E. California which was ROK / Social / Stoney La Rue's.

My understanding is that ACM@UCO needed the space at their previous location.

remember that when ACM@UCO origionally bought the building they tried to get the piano bar to leave at that time and either sued or threatened suit ... ..

so i guess now that the lease is up this makes sense

IMO move the ACM Performance lab to this space and let that space become something else, brings that life to the canal area. You can have a smaller corner of it be multi-purpose so it can be open during the day as a cafe for students and the public.
