View Full Version : Massive North Tulsa Development Approved by City

Pretty great to see. For those not familiar, North Tulsa is the somewhat equivalent to NE OKC. It's not a stretch to say that is would be like putting an $25 million development in the NE 23rd & MLK area.

Sort of off topic, but when I moved to Tulsa I was blown away by how segregated the city was, and not just racially. Economically, North Tulsa is extremely underdeveloped. Not only are there stigmas to fight, but for so long it was hindered by a poor city councilor. They newly elected councilor has been amazing for the district, and hopefully this helps a bit and spurs more private development beyond dollar generals!

Great to see development on the north side. Tulsa both needs more development on the north side and more racial and socioeconomic integration across the city.
