If they are really as loaded as everyone thinks, all they will need is a defense that can make a few more stops than it normally does.... but that may be asking too much

They should change their name to the Biscuits cuz they're always "the team on the rise".

Don't think for one minute that anybody in the Big 12 has underrated OSU.

On the national radar; this is a good thing to be underrated. Your team will not have the heavy expectations on their backs as the season progresses. You can bet that OU & Lincoln Riley aren't about to overlook the Cowboys.

The tough challenge for any top 25 college football team will be the first few games against non-conference scheduled opponents.

Had the pleasure of attending all of Oklahoma's top 4 universities (OU, OSU, TU & UCO). Will be rooting for our three NCAA D-1 entries.

They have been the most underrated team for a decade and a half, and have done next to nothing. Literally, every season they are "a team on the rise".

OSU has won 10 or more games 5 of the last 7 seasons. That's pretty good.

Comparing OSU to top 10 programs will never bode well. Yes they have been/are on the rise. But going from a top 50 program to a top 25 program is one thing. Going from a top 25 program to a top 5 is something entirely different. The fact that they are even in playoff discussions over the last few years says a lot about how far the program has come. And they are one really bad week (for the entire university) from playing in a title game a few years ago. Don't give me they haven't done anything. Yes, they aren't as consistent as OU, Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, etc. But who really is outside of those very programs.

Over the past 10 years, OU has won 104 games vs 93 for OSU. But OU has 6 Big 12 Titles vs 1 for OSU. OU lost one title game, lost one playoff game and played in 4 other BSC bowls, while OSU has played in only 2 BSC bowls.

I'm obviously not saying OSU is there. Just that they could be. Ask Texas how it's going down there. It could happen to anyone. I hope for the best for OU and it's new coach. But you never know. OSU could very well be poised at just the right moment to make a short run as the king of the conference.
