The AANR Convention 2017 is coming to Oklahoma. What is that you ask? It's only the nation's largest nudist convention!

"Oaklake Trails Naturist Park is the largest Family, Clothing Optional, Naturist/Nudist Resort in Oklahoma and one of the largest in the USA. The Park sits on over 400 acres and is one of the largest land area family naturist resorts in the United States, with expanding facilities and one of the fastest growing memberships in the country."

Between this and the Gathering of the Juggalo, our convention business has probably quadrupled this year.

Oaklake Trails has hosted the AANR-SW convention regularly for years, so this isn't a big surprise. I do think that grouping them in with the Gathering of the Juggalo is insulting to a family friendly organization.

Ah, didn't realize they've had the convention their routinely. Thought it was new to Oklahoma this year. And I would absolutely group them together under a sort of other type of category. Or a different lifestyle type of convention. In that sense they are similar for sure. And I would add that as far as Juggalos go, they believe they are family friendly as well.

The Juggalos can think what they want, but it doesn't match reality. Their conventions come with violence, drug use, rowdy behavior, and such. Folks in the AANR have also never been classified as a gang by the FBI. Pretty sure no one has ever died of a drug overdose at an AANR convention as well (can't be said for the gathering of the juggalos). They are gathering on their own private property, not disturbing neighbors or using city resources, and not causing problems. Two very different groups.
