Side note: OkDOT will post preliminary design plans for the I-40/I-40B interchange in Clinton which will be a fairly large project for the area. These two towns will eventually become suburbs for OKC and could be pretty cool. I like driving out this way.

There is a lot of nothing between Weatherford and El Reno. I would be surprised if Weatherford and Clinton would ever become suburbs like Edmond/Yukon/Moore/Norman.
