This is something that gets little attention here but OU is quietly establishing a dynasty is both men's and women's gymnastics.

No. 1 Oklahoma, which capped its third consecutive undefeated regular season Saturday night, raced ahead to an early lead after the first rotation, leading 143.600-139.250 after the first two rotations with dominant performances on the floor and pommel horse.

And indeed, McCasland Field House belonged to the Sooners on Saturday as they clinched their 63rd consecutive victory and likely the No. 1 seed in the NCAA postseason.

The women's team is close on their heels. In retrospect, OU would seem to be an unlikely place for this to occur and it seems to lead back to the coming of Bart Connor to OU.
