"Before Tuesday’s vote, Cordish Companies principal Reed Cordish showed renderings of the Stadium Lofts project that will be adjacent to Texas Live. It’ll include 280 residential units, retail, restaurants and a business incubator called Spark. The coworking space will be modeled after one Cordish built in Baltimore that includes more than 150 companies, according to the company."

"The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to move forward with incentive agreements that will put a $550 million Loews hotel and an attached 150,000-square-foot convention center in motion. The 880-room hotel would be more than twice the size of a Live! by Loews hotel that recently opened across the street."

Wasn’t impressed with renderings for the cost.

Also, shhh don’t tell anyone but they are adding parking. All projects should be walkable or Uber.

“It’ll also issue $49.6 million in bonds to build an attached 1,900-space parking facility that’ll be city-owned, ”

Oh I'm aware they're building structured parking - not the best use of land - but a minor improvement on the surface parking lot that is currently sitting there.

Was comparing size/cost with ours:

OKC: The $288 million center will feature nearly 200,000 square feet of exhibit space, a 30,000-square-foot ballroom and 45,000 square feet of additional meeting space.

FORT WORTH Fort Worth city officials have approved a $440 million package of tax incentives for electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian Automotive, saying the company's proposal to build a $5 billion factory would forever change the landscape of the once-rural western side of the city.

In return, Rivian would create 7,500 jobs by 2027, which would make it one of the largest employers in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The California company is looking at several cities for its proposed manufacturing plant, although Fort Worth is considered a front-runner.
