What a couple weeks. The Fair always brings memories of the Speedway, then Lanny Edwards passes. Today I hear that Parr Automotive closed its doors yesterday. Everything from my days of hot rod and race car building/wrenching/pit crewing/working for the tracks is gone or going. I'm going to have an extra beer or five tonight.
