I heard we are getting another On Cue in Norman and a neighborhood market on Tecumseh just west of I-35 dirt is being moved across from Sonic/McDonalds. What is the big project on Tecumseh just east of I-35 south side? When is Tucker's Onion Burger scheduled to open near Torchy's sign is on the back door. I heard of a large road widening , leveling project on Tecumseh just west of 108 th street how far west will it go. ?Owners have been notified !

There is an ON CUE presently located about 1 mile from where you are talking about. I am surprised that they would install one this close.

They're not putting one that close and any talk of another OnCue in Norman at this time is 100% pure rumor.

Plus there is a Neighborhood market right there on Rock Creek and I-35. I don't see another one happening on Tecumseh.

No info on this in particular, but they've got OnCue's going in as close as two miles apart - for example, SW 89th and Penn has been there for a few years, and they're building one at SW 74th and May - and are getting ready to open one at SW 119th at I-44. I think density is something they're not afraid of. Whether that's smart remains to be seen.

The one on 119th opened awhile ago. I've been to it a few times now.

Don't know where the On Cue is going. But There is a lot of Commercial dirt being moved on Tecumseh. At least enough for a neighborhood Market !

Heck WalMart is building a new SuperCenter at SW 104th at I-44 *and* a new Neighborhood Market at SW 134th and May! I don't think they care about density, but I do think they're trying a "pincer" movement (at least in part) against Crest at SW 104th and May. And I think there's at least a notion of a defensive move against any notion Target (or something similar) might have in the new Portland/WRWA East development.

If they're going after Crest, it makes me want to go buy needless things from them just to support their business.

I wouldn't discount OnCue building in close proximity to each other. They have two along NW Expressway within a few miles of each other in OKC. I'm not trying to fuel the rumor or anything, but just pointing that out.

I just measured on Google Earth and those two NW Expressway locations are 2.3 miles apart.

Cllose, yes, but also on opposite sides of the road which is important due to catching business in both the morning and evening rush.

I'd love an OnCue on the west side. I love OnCue but I am not going to cross the highway for gas!

As for more Walmarts... No thanks.

They are building a gas station and a liquor store in front of the new Anatole at Norman apartments on Tecumseh and 36th. There is already a Neighborhood Market on Rock Creek and 36th. I strongly doubt that Walmart would build another one that close.

Can I just dream for a moment that there could be a Dunkin Donuts coming in on Tecumseh? Pretty please? :)

Kims Donuts in the business strip behind CVS on the corner of 36th and Tecumseh is pretty fantastic. Really nice people there too.

Apparently it will be shops/retail called Shops At Tecumseh Crossing. I dug this up after a little bit of searching. Plans, minutes from the city council meeting etc.

On Cues are everywhere, look at West and East I40, and the Expressway stores.

That project (Shops at Tecumseh Road) is near the OnCue on Tecumseh (East side of I-35). The OP was talking about the are closer to 36th Avenue (west of I-35).
