We're going to see this Lyric Theater production of the Tony Award winning show on Saturday and it looks like it will be very interesting.

Absolutely loved the show. I haven't laughed that hard since Spamalot. The Man in the Chair is played by Martin Burke, who is one of my favorite Lyric regulars. Monte Reigel plays Aldolpho, another one of my Lyric favorites. The "intermission" is hysterical, as is the "skipping" and the cane dropping. Probably my three favorite parts of the show.

Martin Burke will be in the one man show "Fully Committed" which shows at Lyric from September 21-October 2. After seeing Drowsy, this makes me more excited to see Fully Committed.

For those of you who enjoyed the show, tell your friends as there are still plenty of tickets available.
