THis is awesome news. I actually thought they might repurpose the strip video board on the left-field side into a scoreboard at some point. Didn't have any idea they'd be willing to put the $$ into a new HD board. This, to me, is a great upgrade and one that corrects one of the few significant errors in the ol Bricktown Ballpark - that centerfield scoreboard. From the day that park opened, it was evident that scoreboard was too small for the park, and I also recall that being an area of cost contention when the park was finished. It looks like the new board will be a terrific upgrade.
