Very, very sad. I had the pleasure last summer of sitting next to Coach Williams on a flight he was taking with his family to Denver for one last vacation before the NBA season got started. We talked the whole time. He is a man with a very strong faith in God and that will surely help him get through this extremely difficult time. Although at that point in the summer he hadn't lived in OK for long, he said he loved living here because the people had been so kind and welcoming to his family and that there were so many "believers". I was very impressed with him. Very humble, kind, a strong thinker, interesting--had a lot of depth to him. And he loves his family. I'm sure there he will feel and appreciate the love of the people of Oklahoma in the coming days more than ever before.
