I know most of us are 'gived out' because of donations to Hurricane Victims but this is so incredibly sad - I thought I would post in the hopes that we might be able to help in some small way.

Sante Fe Mortgage, Rick Lorg's employer, is planning a garage sale to benefit the Lorg's on Saturday, September 24th. Eagle Heights Church is excited to join them in this opportunity. All the proceeds will go towards medical expenses due to Hadley's illness. Please donate items for the garage sale by dropping them off in the Fellowship Center Wednesday before or after church or on Friday night. And don't forget to come by on Saturday for bargains!

Have any of you ever even heard of this disease? And they said they could have prevented it at birth if they had known.. how do they do that? I think it is so sad for this young family... I can't imagine losing a child. It is my worst fear. My thoughts and prayers go out to this family and that sweet baby.
