So am I the only one missing Urbanspoon? Since it was replaced by Zomato, it's been pretty worthless.

Yelp has been my only salvation. Gotta wonder what they are thinking at Zomato. Don't know anyone that uses it.

Completely agree. Not sure why you buyout a company way better than you, then destroy that company. I used to only use Urbanspoon, now I only use Yelp.

I used Urbanspoon extensively with my blog.. Both for research and for getting my blogs to a wider audience.... Zomato is horrible for both.

I miss urbanspoon. Yelp I've read too many corruption stories to give it any attention.

I learned quickly to give ratings only a glance. Reviews from trusted posters carried more weight. Mostly, Urbanspoon provided a nice filter-able list of suggestions. Yelp does fine too. Zomato seems to have haphazardly lost half it's content.

yah I opened Zomato yesterday again for the first time in a while.. I always loved urbanspoon but Zamato is horrible.. I deleted it from my Ipad.

Yeah, I just removed the app from my phone as well. Unfortunate, bc I had a decent amount of reviews with Urbanspoon. Now gotta start over with Yelp.

Interestingly enough, once Urbanspoon went away.....I have been using OKCTalk for reviews. Obviously, the sample size is much much smaller...but for local reviews, I trust everyone here, as much as anything else.

Aaa-Yup. Like any review site, some are on point and some show a clear bias one direction or another.
Som are fun and witty, others are coarse and more than a wee bit shhitty.
